Senior Human Resources Generalist

Base Salary: $75K-$95K
Job Type: Full-Time/Exempt

JOB SUMMARY

Poznecki-Camarillo (PCI) is looking for a qualified and resourceful Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities and will help with essential functions within the Operations Management Department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations
  • Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements
  • Search and identify potential candidates across various channels, industry and recruiting platforms
  • Manage the recruitment and selection processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
  • Manage the on-boarding, and off-boarding process
  • Assist in handling employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and data
  • Assist in administering compensation and performance management programs
  • Manage employee benefits programs, handling enrollment, changes, and addressing inquiries
  • Manage extended leave programs (e.g. FMLA, STD, LTD, Parental Leave)
  • Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company
  • Lead efforts to enhance employee engagement, morale, and workplace culture
  • Manage the company’s training and development program
  • Conduct employee records audit to ensure information is complete and accurate
  • Attend and manage career fair events across the state
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary (e.g. COBRA, ERISA, EEOC, OHSA)

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources roles, focusing on HR administration and employee relations
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, COBRA, and EEO
  • Experience managing employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, disability plans, and leave policies
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience providing guidance and direction to supervisors regarding employee relations
  • Experience planning and organizing recruiting events, training/seminars, and team-building events
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with people in various roles with different leadership styles across all levels of the organization
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • 8 years of experience in human resource roles
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Deltek (Ajera and/or Vantagepoint)
