JOB SUMMARY
Poznecki-Camarillo is looking for an experienced Survey Coordinator to play a key role in our growing survey department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying fundamentals and knowledge, as well as proficiency in a variety of software applications used both in the office and the field. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide support for projects using Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
- Lead the production and processing of survey data and field data.
- Conduct initial QA/QC reviews of field data, notes, CAD files, and other survey data.
- Monitor and track project status to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with survey leadership to develop field and technician schedules, ensuring timely project completion and submittals.
- Assist leadership in refining workflow processes and QA/QC procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor and assist survey leadership in training staff.
EDUCATION
- Associate degree (or higher) in Surveying, Engineering, Drafting, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of surveying fundamentals, industry standards, TxDOT CAD standards, best practices, and workflow.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/Open Roads.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve technical and procedural issues.
- Capability to lead production efforts and manage projects independently.
- Proficient in data processing and field note reduction.
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to adapt to new technology and software.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- 8 years’ experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/Open Roads.
- Knowledge and experience with Trimble surveying equipment.
- Experience with LiDAR, including UAV, mobile, and terrestrial applications.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS.
- Experience with Trimble Business Center.
- Field surveying experience, with hands-on expertise.
