John Garza

Survey Manager

Mr. Garza joined the PCI team as a survey project manager in 2003. He has over 41 years of experience in surveying and engineering including project management and production supervision. He has vast experience in project coordination for land development, commercial, residential, municipal, state, and federal government projects for agencies like TxDOT, City of San Antonio Public Works, San Antonio Water Systems, and Bexar County Public Works. Mr. Garza’s surveying management experience includes boundary resolution, horizontal and vertical control, platting, design and drainage surveying, research, construction surveying and support, job bidding and client customer service. As survey project manager, Mr. Garza manages and oversees all survey field crews, conducting quality control for all field procedures and data collection, while ensuring crew worker safety in the field. Mr. Garza upholds the firm’s values of family, community, and education, by spending time with his family hunting and camping, and by being an active member of his community through his church.
