JOB SUMMARY

Poznecki-Camarillo is hiring an experienced, results driven, marketing proposal coordinator.  In that role, you will be responsible for preparing,  managing, and submitting marketing proposals. Additionally, you will assist our engineering, land surveying, environmental, and public involvement professionals in coordinating, compiling, and performing quality reviews for RFQ responses.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare a compelling response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) which solicit professional and consultative services within the civil engineering, environmental planning, land surveying and public involvement discipline
  • Track and manage progress and deadlines for proposals
  • Ensure accuracy with required guidelines for proposal submittal
  • Edit, standardize, or make changes to responses prepared by technical subject matter experts
  • Search and identify solicitations for proposals
  • Manage and organize marketing, proposal, and business development materials
  • Maintain marketing and business development data in the company’s CRM database
  • Assist in project lifecycle management and reporting within CRM and Project Accounting database
  • Prepare marketing activity reports to include new leads, active pursuits, client management, and win/loss results
  • Collaborate with or support marketing team as needed

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, Public Relations, or related field. Four (4) years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of education requirement

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 years’ experience in marketing, public relations, or communications
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to plan, manage, and oversee production of marketing proposals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to gather information from numerous sources, proof-read/edit/rewrite, and adjust copy as necessary under tight deadlines to meet client requirements
  • Intermediate working knowledge with Adobe Creative (InDesign, Acrobat, and Illustrator)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Strong sense of time management and ability to prioritize and manage tasks on concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs
  • Ability to contribute to a positive team environment
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with people in various roles with different leadership styles across all levels of the organization

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years’ experience with proposal coordination, graphic design, technical writing, communications, marketing, or similar
  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or Public Relations
  • Experience with Deltek products Vantagepoint, Ajera, Vision
  • Experience in web design, development, and maintenance
  • Experience in AEC industry

JOB SUMMARY

Poznecki-Camarillo, Inc. is looking for an Engineer in Training  (EIT) to join our team.  This position is responsible for providing support to engineers for state and local roadway and highway infrastructure and land development projects. The EIT will work under the supervision of Engineer(s) and be responsible developing designs, plans, and specifications using  MicroStation, GEOPAK and Civil 3D for project plans, documents, reports, and exhibits.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Works closely with and provides support to project engineers to develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for transportation, sewer/water, drainage, and other infrastructure projects
  • Applies engineering principles, methods, and techniques
  • Performs research, calculations for designs, and formulating possible results based on different scenarios
  • Familiar with appropriate regulatory requirements and specifications for roadway and other infrastructure projects

 

EDUCATION

Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 0-2 years relevant work experience
  • Certified Engineer-in-Training or able to sit for the EIT exam within 1 year
  • Experience with at least one computer package, i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation
  • Possess an understanding and knowledge of applicable codes and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Strong sense of time management and ability to prioritize and manage tasks on concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment

Civil Engineer – Transportation

JOB SUMMARY

Poznecki-Camarillo is looking for a Civil Engineer with transportation experience to join our team.  This position is responsible for the design of roadway and highway for transportation schematics and PS&E projects. The Civil Engineer will work under limited supervision and will be responsible for producing quality deliverables on time, within budget, and within scope.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for the schematic design and PS&E for roadway/highway and local public works infrastructure projects in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines
  • Perform design and analysis for projects that include city, county roads, interchanges, and highways
  • Develop innovative design techniques and project delivery methods
  • Provide guidance and oversight to less experienced staff to ensure tasks and quality deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and within scope
  • Will assist in developing business relationships with existing and new clients for the firm with an emphasis on cultivating, managing and maintaining superior client relationships
  • Communicate with internal staff, subs consultants, prime consultants, stakeholders, and governmental agencies

 

EDUCATION

Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas, or meet the requirements to obtain licensing within the first 6 months of employment
  • 3 years experience with federal, state and local transportation projects
  • TxDOT experience and ability to provide a list of pre-certifications available
  • Ability to technically develop members of the project team
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, across all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in MicroStation, GeoPak, AutoCAD, Excel and Word

  • 3D Design experience
  • Experience with business development, marketing, and networking in the Texas marketplace
