Administrative Assistant – Part Time

Base Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

JOB SUMMARY

Poznecki-Camarillo (PCI) is looking for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant in our Round Rock Office location. The Administrative Assistant will support local staff with general administrative tasks, to include greeting guests, assisting staff, copies, and general office support tasks. This is a part-time permanent position. The employee will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining a welcoming, well-organized office environment. The individual will support daily logistics, coordinate staff-related events, and provide general administrative support across departments. Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently are essential.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support such as printing, scanning, copying, and mailing, brewing coffee, greeting guests.
  • Serve as a point of contact for office service requests (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, janitorial).
  • Assist with travel arrangements.
  • Support the staff with tasks such as travel receipts for expense reporting
  • Assist Public Involvement team with RSVP/follow-up calls, QC public mailouts, and public meeting setup.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front reception and shared common areas.
  • Pick up and deliver packages, supplies, meals as needed.
  • Attend the weekly Operations Meeting and provide summary notes or updates to the VP of Environmental and VP of Public Involvement.
  • Restock groceries, snacks, and beverages in the breakroom; coordinate ordering, pickup, and delivery.
  • Conduct office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain office and Public Involvement storge space organized.
  • Provide general support to the San Antonio office, including periodic visits as directed.
  • Must be able to travel to the San Antonio office as needed.
  • Comfortable working alone in the office when necessary.
  • Support meetings by setting up conference rooms, preparing refreshments, or taking notes.
  • Coordinate teaming events (e.g. lunches, happy hours, team outings)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience working in an office setting
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to sit in a desk for prolonged periods.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds at times.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Able to travel to the San Antonio office, as needed.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Associate’s degree

GENERAL WORK SCHEDULE

  • In the office Monday – Friday
  • Office hours are 8:00 – 12:00 (minimum of 20 hours per week)
  • Occasionally work additional hours as needed
