JOB SUMMARY
Poznecki-Camarillo is seeking a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) with project management experience to join our team. The RPLS will serve as a Project Surveyor and/or Survey Project Manager on survey projects (non–oil & gas)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead survey projects and assist in directing survey field staff to accomplish task assignments and deliverables related to survey projects
- Perform legal research, analysis and boundary and right of way resolution.
- Perform in-process quality control of survey field activities, calculations, and project deliverables.
- Provide guidance and oversight to staff and team to ensure tasks and quality deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Responsible for survey and mapping projects
- Report survey findings, projects status, results and deliverables with clients and team members.
- Perform business development and proposal preparation.
- Develop business relationships with existing and new clients for the firm with an emphasis on cultivating, managing and maintaining superior client relationships.
- Communicate with internal staff, subs consultants, prime consultants, stakeholders, and governmental agencies
- Provide field assistance by conducting site visits and/or assist crews in the field when necessary.
- Ability to direct technicians and field crews in performing surveying tasks and meeting project objectives
- Responsible for assigned projects, including signing and sealing deliverables in compliance with applicable standards and regulations
EDUCATION
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Valid registration as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the State of Texas, or the ability to obtain Texas registration through reciprocity within 6 months.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience managing survey projects, demonstrating leadership and successful project execution.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads, as well as MS Office and MS Project, with practical experience applying these tools to support project planning, design, and delivery.
- Strong expertise in boundary analysis, with advanced knowledge of surveying principles and geospatial fundamentals.
- Ability to support technical development and assist in training and mentoring survey team members to foster growth and enhance overall team performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively engaging with employees at all organizational levels.
- Collaborative team player, contributing positively to group dynamics and goals.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Local to the San Antonio or Round Rock area preferred
- TxDOT Precertification in survey categories.
- 5 years of experience as a survey project manager
- Assist w/ t business development activities and to assist with marketing and networking within the Texas marketplace to support growth and build professional relationships
- Understanding of LiDAR, photogrammetry, UAV applications, and other emerging technologies used in modern surveying and geospatial data collection
