De Zavala Road, from Babcock to Cogburn

PCI provided civil engineering, land surveying, and environmental services for the widening and reconstruction of De Zavala Road from Cogburn to Babcock Road for the City of San Antonio. The project widened De Zavala Road to accommodate five lanes, including a continuous two-way left-turn median and an extra-wide outside lane to help accommodate cyclists. The project included joint-bidding with SAWS, acquisition of right-of-way, and a water quality pond to treat runoff to protect the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone.
