I-35 Operational Improvements, from the Guadalupe River to the Comal / Hays County Line

PCI was contracted by TxDOT’s San Antonio District for preliminary engineering, environmental, public involvement, and surveying services for approximately 9.5 miles of operational improvements on I-35, from the Guadalupe River to the Comal / Hays County line in New Braunfels, TX. The project was to improve mobility and safety along I-35 and consisted of converting the existing two-way frontage roads into a one-way operation, relocating entrance and exit ramps, and providing interchange improvements at four intersection locations, including the displaced left turn lane at FM 306.
